Wider and/or additional borders could be added to make a larger quilt

Materials:
All fabric requirements are based on 42" (115cm) wide fabric

145cm (1.45m) backgroun of your choice (I chose black tone on tone)

Border 1: 20cm floral print
Border 2: 120cm to match background

Appliqué:
 - 30cm of three different green prints for leaves
 - 20cm pale beige fabric for birds & contrast for wings
 - large scrap pieces (at least a fat 1/4 size), various colours including yellow, purple, orange, blue and burgandy
 - 2 metres of fusible webbing (Vliesofix)
 - Threads: Beige or grey cotton for your bobbin An asortment of machine rayon threads to match appliqué
