BLURB: ‘Coffee with William Morris’ came about over a cup of coffee on Christmas Day 2002. My quilt includes elements of the ‘Brompton’ design on the mug and of the ‘Rose’ wallpaper from Morris c. 1883. It is recorded that William Morris was influenced by a 16th century Venetian silk and gold brocade when he was designing the "Rose’ wallpaper
